Prelude Blessed Assurance arr. M. Hayes
Welcoming and Land Acknowledgement
“As we gather together, let us pause to remember that we live, work and worship on lands that are, by law, the unceded territories of the nations of Treaty 7. As Christ’s people, may we be people of love, of truth, and of reconciliation. May we live with respect on this land, and in peace and friendship with its people.”

Lighting the Christ Candle
We gather with a common desire to follow Christ.
We light a candle to recall
that we are the body of Christ,
and the light of Christ shines amongst us.
Call to Worship
Heavenly Father, we lift our troubled souls to you,
We trust you with our past, present, and future.
Teach us, Lord, that we may know your ways.
Guide our every move, that we may walk in your paths of love and mercy.
Let us worship the One who leads us in the path of what is right.
Together, let us worship God!
Hymn Shall We Gather at the River VU 710
Prayer: Roy Rogers rider club meeting Prayer
Oh, Lord, I reckon I’m not just by myself. I fail to do a lot of things I ought to do.
But Lord, when trails are steep and passes are high
Help me ride it straight the whole way through
And when in the falling dusk I get the final call.
I do not care how many flowers they send
Above all else the happiest trail would be for you to say to me
“Let’s ride, my friend”. Amen
Hymn Precious Lord, Take My Hand VU 670

Amen.
