“I’ve been considering the phrase “all my relations” for some time now. It’s hugely important. It’s our saving grace in the end. It points to the truth that we are all related, that we are all connected, that we all belong to each other. The most important word is “all.” Not just those who look like me, sing like me, dance like me, speak like me, pray like me or behave like me. ALL my relations. That means every person, just as it means every rock, mineral, blade of grass, and creature. We live because everything else does.”
– Richard Wagamese, as published in Embers: One Ojibway’s Meditation

Call to Worship: “We are all fellow travelers through this life. Together, we learn to care for one another. Join us to discover ancient imagery, history, love, dedication to what’s good, and acceptance of all people. Together, we wonder how we’re simultaneously insignificant and grand in this vast universe. Together, let’s explore the question: “What is God Like?”

Carry God’s Light into the world: we are all fellow travellers through this life. Together, we learn to care for one another. Together we discover ancient imagery, history, love, dedication to what’s good, and acceptance of all people. Together, we wonder how we’re simultaneously insignificant and grand in this vast universe. Together, let’s explore the question: What is God Like? Go into the world knowing that you and everyone you encounter gives you a little glimpse of God. Shine your light and let others shine theirs, knowing that the source of all light is the Creator.
Closing Music for the Maker: This Little Light of Mine
End Of Year Prayer
