Sunday School Zoom meetings

Hello Sunday school! I want to send a schedule out you!

There has been interest within zoom meetings so I thought that we could do them and have a lot of fun!

Let me know if you would also like packages as well. I will keep you all posted as much as I can and make these zoom meetings something we all enjoy.

This is for the junior Sunday school classes on Sunday mornings at 9:30am.

Thursday February 18th 6:30 – 8:00.

Mission And Service fair

Mission & Service fair presented by our children and youth on Sunday, Nov 4th after the worship service.  you are invited to a wonderful multicultural experience, sample some food and drinks from the regions they’ve been studying throughout Canada.

Learn how the United Church and it’s partners support these regions with mission and service.

Harvest Potluck Lunch

On October 6 the Sunday school would like to invite the congregation to celebrate the harvest with a harvest potluck lunch following the service. Please bring a potluck item that you have grown, canned, or bought locally to share in the abundance. Everyone is welcome to join us at the Calgary corn maze following lunch for an afternoon of fun.

Sunday School supplies

The Sunday school is in full swing for another fun and faith-filled year. We have created a wish list of items we will need for Sunday school throughout this year. Please see the list below. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board.  Donations are greatly appreciated. 

We are also looking for volunteers for specific projects throughout the year. A volunteer sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board. Please see Angela or Victoria for more details. 

• Trifolds, 3 large
• Paints, variety of colors
• Paint brushed, various sizes
• Glue sticks
• White glue
• Clear storage bins with lids, various sizes
• Used couch for youth room from a non-smoking, non-pet home
• VCR
• Binder dividers
• Blank art paper
• Laminating sheets
• Bag of popcorn kernels & 1 box microwave popcorn
• Pylons
• Sharpie markers, 2 packs

Progressive Supper

March 22nd  5:30pm –  7:30pm
Airdrie Starbucks (by Safeway)

Grade 4-6 and Youth meet at 5:30 at the Airdrie Starbucks (by Safeway) for an evening of Progressive supper, followed by dessert and debriefing activity at the church.

Valentines’ Day candy-grams

Beginning Jan. 20th, the Sunday school and youth group will be selling candy-grams for $1.00 each. You will be given a small valentine to write a personal message, and on February 10 before the start of the annual meeting, the kids will deliver your message along with a candy-gram to the recipients. This is a great way to let a neighbour, friend, loved one know that you think they are “sweet.”  

Senior Clubhouse and Youth night

Friday, February 22   Grades 4-6 from 6-7:30 pm, and youth group from 7-10 pm. Come enjoy a fun evening of friends, fellowship, laughter and fun.
