Welcoming and Land Acknowledgement
“As we gather together, let us pause to remember that we live, work and worship on lands that are, by law, the unceded territories of the nations of Treaty 7. As Christ’s people, may we be people of love, of truth, and of reconciliation. May we live with respect on this land, and in peace and friendship with its people.”

Call To Worship
The sap stirs and green spring shakes off its overcoat of gray.
Life stirs, and the Spirit of Abundant Life unfurls
itself within us This is the aftermath of Easter
Life calls to us, abundant life that God would give. Let us answer, as we worship God.

Invocation – This is the Day MV 122

OPENING PRAYER

Holy One, you call us from the rest of the night into the light of this new day. You invite us to live in the light of love for your sake and for the good of our relations. As we worship you now, take from us any impediments that keep us from loving you with heart and soul and mind. Be our Good Shepherd and lead us to paths of life-giving love. We shall follow. We pray in your name. Amen

Sharing Of Scripture – Psalm 23 A Psalm of David.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want; 2 he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; 3 he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Prayers Of The People & The Lords Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven.
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen

Celebration of Communion

God be with you.

And also with you.

Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up to God.

Let us give thanks to God.

It is right to give God thanks and praise.

Prayer After Communion

God of Light:

At this table we have come out of darkness.

At this table we have been reminded that there is enough,

At this table we have experienced grace and shared love,

Through this meal we have become the Kingdom of God and

we commit again to the Way of Jesus.

God of Love, guide us to the places of our community, where the lonely and longing gather. Lead us to the places of our communities where hope and renewal are born again. Make us channels of your love, joy and peace. Amen
