Prelude Holy! Holy! Holy! By J. Stainer
Welcoming and Land Acknowledgement
“As we gather together, let us pause to remember that we live, work and worship on lands that are, by law, the unceded territories of the nations of Treaty 7. As Christ’s people, may we be people of love, of truth, and of reconciliation. May we live with respect on this land, and in peace and friendship with its people.”

Welcome and Announcements
Lighting of the Christ Candle
As we light the Christ candle today, we remember that Christ was born of love, that Christ came for love, and that the love of Christ is always with us.
As we are bathed in this love may we also share it.

Call To Worship
God of love, you are our creator, our redeemer, you command us to love you and all that you have created. We gather to offer you this time of worship, to renew our vow to love and to offer ourselves to you. Draw near to us as we draw near to you.
Hymn Deep in Our Hearts MV 154
Opening Prayer
God of love, we come before you in prayer and thanks for the moments you give us to enjoy your creation; we look to the skies, we feel the earth, we notice the breeze, the trees, the birds and our hearts rejoice in this world that sustains us. For this we offer you our thanks and praise. As we come to worship, we acknowledge our humanness and the grace with which you welcome us into your place. May we meet you anew here. Amen.

Prayers Of The People & The Lords Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven.
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen
