Hi from Minneapolis! Standing next to the Mary Tyler Moore statue. If you remember that TV show you may be too old for the youth group. Great conference & coming home with some great ideas for our wonderful congregation. Miss you all soooooo much. See you in Sept.

While FROG was out stampeding this week, I have been reading the following:

This book is about how to engage people, churches, and partners to inspire hope in our communities and neighborhoods.

This week I am reading No Home like Place. A church building is both blessing & burden & it can be an essential place where a person can find a safe & supportive place to explore their faith.

About 500 years ago Huldrych Zwingli was a Zurich pastor who broke a rule. He read the Bible in German (the common language of the time) instead of reading it in Latin. I wonder what rules Balzac needs to break to make a difference in the world?

I found this prayer at the Jesuit Church in Lucerne. It reminded me of what we are about at Balzac church.
