Welcoming and Land Acknowledgement
“As we gather together, let us pause to remember that we live, work and worship on lands that are, by law, the unceded territories of the nations of Treaty 7. As Christ’s people, may we be people of love, of truth, and of reconciliation. May we live with respect on this land, and in peace and friendship with its people.”

Call to Worship
Come, all that have
entered into this space
from different places of birth,
different cultures,
and from places of divergent
perspectives and opinions.
Come, let us find our home
in the spacious
and accepting heart of God
and see within it
our soul’s longing and future.

Prayer for Transformation
In a world that is closed in,
where we focus on only our own,
seeing our own needs
May we be a community that is open,
looking outwards, seeing beyond ourselves.
May this be a holy transformation
In a world where the few hold so much power,
where food and opportunity is so unfairly divided
May we be a community that shares,
recognizing each other’s needs,
and sharing each problem together.
May this be a holy transformation
In a world where conflict is the chosen way,
and might feeds every prejudice
May we be a community that lives in peace,
where differences are celebrated,
and variety brings wholeness.
May this be a holy transformation.

Children and youth are welcome to go to Sunday School at this time

of good heart and free spirit. Amen.

Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven.
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen
